The first step in being successful in digital sales is setting a good vision for your team. By doing this, you’ll have a better understanding where you are going and what it is you’re trying to achieve. Your vision helps you and your team move in the same direction toward a common goal.

An example Vision statement: Treat every digital up the same as an in-store up and be the best at helping customers BEFORE they visit the store.

When it comes to setting a vision for digital sales, think about why you are doing this in the first place. It’s likely that you have an opportunity available to improve and grow your revenue. Shoppers want to be online, and you must keep up. But how can you make that actionable?

An example Goal: Talk to as many customers as you can, invite them for an in-store or virtual appointment, and build a pipeline of quality leads to reach out to now and in the future.
